Day 18

We arrived at Narita National airport which was very intuitive and had lots of English spelling on the
signs, that in itself helped us a lot. We headed straight to the Shinjuku station to catch a train to the
busiest district in Japan called Shibuya, home of the most extravagant shops and vending machines. We
browsed in the shops, went to our hotel and called it a day simply for the fact that our bodies were so
sore.

Day 19

As soon as we woke up we were greeted by the infamous earthquake alarms, but luck was on our side
and it was just a minor one. First destination Meiji Shrine. A peaceful walk along the path leading to the
main shrine building, cocooned by the tall trees, the skyscrapers f the city felt so far away. We made our
prayers because that’s the best way to show your respects to the shrine.

Day 20

On day 20 we just visited some local shops and souvenir shops located in Ikebukuro. Found some cool
traditional Japanese hang pieces and ate a lot of street food.

Day 21

On this day we were hit in the face with the so called rush hours of the subway stations In japan which
really surprised us. The simple fact that the staff there needed to push us into the subway to make room
for the other people was surreal. A fresh scent on cherry trees hit us right in the face when exiting the
subway and we couldn’t believe our eyes, it was a walkway with sakura trees on the side.

Day 22

We made sure to visit the popular ramen shops, which by the way tasted delicious. This day was just the
prologue for the night. The night arrived and we walked to Shibuya to see ourselves in an indescribable
state of joy caused by the lights of the district at night. Shibuya is also known for it’s night life that we
enjoyed to the fullest partying in a club.

Day 23

Today was just a rest day. We spent our time in a nearby spa relaxing and enjoying lots of stories that
the locals who know English(which is very rare) told us.

Day 24

The most exciting day for me, because we had a chance to visit the Akihabara district. The district spoke
for itself feeding our eyes with the sight of Anime shops and lots of arcade. Unfortunately we spent
most of our money on merch and arcade.

Day 25

Packed our bags and headed to the Airport. With lots of thoughts in our head, one of which is that we
will be sure visiting this amazing country again.
