Conclusion: ABO/RhD blood typing with M-TRAP®
method using whole blood and 5% red cell suspension
has a strong agreement. We need to consider with
pathologic specimen which may affect the result.
Conclusion: M-TRAP® method has a 100% accuracy
compared to the tube method. The use of this method
for ABO/RhD blood typing in donor population can be
considered.
Conclusions: M-TRAP® method has very good
analytical performance in ABO/RhD blood typing for
pathological specimen compared to tube test as daily
standard examination. However, for hematology
malignancies and Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, the
results need to be confirmed by tube test.
