1.0 – Introduction
The aim of this report is to show a summary of the
production process that happened while creating our
advertisements. This project was a collaboration with
Northwest Regional College and The Churches Trust. Due
to covid 19 restrictions we couldn’t do the project how we
usually would be able too as we had to stick to restrictions
at the time. You can find all my work here:

4.0 - My stops
My stops I focused my project on are St Columbs Park and St Brecans Church. I
worked together on this project with Charmaine Madden. Below is some
information we gathered on our stops.
They complete their aim with a range of projects that help communities and
individuals to work together towards a place where everyone feels valued and
can make a positive difference.
It is in the heart of the park and has a multiple facilities such as:
Café
Toilets
Parking
You can also stay in the house; the house offers comfortable accommodation
across 4 dormitory style rooms. Sleeping up to 48, each room is equipped with
fully fitted shower room one of which is a fully functional disabled facility.
These rooms are usually used for residentials from youth groups. It also offers
catering packages with residentials.

St Brecans Church
St Brecan’s Church is known as one of the oldest buildings in Derry and
only ruins of it remains. It is also the only medieval Church left in the
area.
The building is in St Columb’s Park.
Nicholas Weston who was a Bishop in Derry dismantled the original
building to build a new Palace which never ended up being built.
However, in 1585 Redmond O’Gallagher rebuilt it. St Brecan himself was
a saint in the 5th Century AD.
The original layout was a rectangle with projections of the north and
south walls beyond the east and west gables. In the 13th century the
building was remoulded which is when the arch was added.
