Agile Project Management

SESSION 3 - HOMEWORK part 1

AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT LEARNING PROCESS

The customer, Karen Caramelo, as a professional teacher of ESCP Europe, wants five working
groups of young students to become Agile-expert teams that are not only capable to understand
the basic concepts of the “Agile Project Management” course, but also to explore, adapt and
implement them on their own learning process.

Suggestions:

- Start with the meetings calendar: establish the size of your sprint; dates, time and duration of
each meeting. Planning, Daily meetings and Reviews are the usual order.
- Planning meeting: To make this meeting more effective, it’s necessary that the Scrum Master
and Product Owner work on the Product Backlog before this meeting, especially to present a
prioritized order in the beginning of the meeting.
- Remember that collaborating with other groups is also possible. The aim is not to make a
competition, but to learn together, even if you are from different working groups.
- Defined roles are: Scrum Master and Product Owner. But other roles are also allowed. Each
group can define new roles and responsibilities if needed.
- By default, the client will get in contact with the Product Owner (PO). Although any team
member can also contact the client.
- Don’t hesitate to ask (the professor) if you have any doubts or need orientation!
- Don’t hesitate to ask (the client) if you have any questions about the requirements!
