Event Traces:

Event traces are the graphical description of sequence of events that are
exchanged between real-world entities.
Notations:
Vertical lines represents the timeline of an entity, whose name appears at the
top of the line.
Horizontal lines represents interatction between two entities that is termed as
message passing from one entity to another.
If one event appears above another event, then the upper event occurs before the
lower event.

A graph portray a single trace representing only one of the several behaviours of a
system. We need event traces for describing the a system's behavioural
requirements.
