3rd Interaction Talkatora Stadium The Prime Minister (PM), Shri Narendra Modi has attended the
programme with in New Delhi ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020’, The purpose of this one-hour long
school students program was to ensure that the students relieve stress and give
Pariksha Pe upcoming board and entrance examinations. About 2,000
Charcha 2020 students, teachers and parents participated in this program from
all over India. Out of these, 1,050 students were selected through

Economic Ministers’ (EAS-EMM) was held virtually which was attended by

Naval Commanders New Delhi The Naval Commanders’ Conference 2020, a biennial
Conference 2020 conference was held in New Delhi, India from August 19 to
21, 2020. Rajnath Singh, Union Defence Minister addressed
the opening session of the conference. This is the 1st Naval
Commanders’ Conference since the institution of the
Department of Military Affairs (DMA) and Chief of Defence
Staff (CDS).

Global Ayurveda The 4th edition of Global Ayurveda Summit was virtually

Development Summit (SMDS IX) organized by Integrated Mountain Initiative
2020 (SMDS IX) (IMI) and hosted by Sustainable Development Forum
Uttaranchal (SDFU), Dehradun took place virtually in
Dehradun from December 11-14, 2020. The Summit was
held on occasion of the United Nations (UN) International

India Water Impact The 5-day long virtual 5th India Water Impact Summit
Summit (IWIS) 2020 (IWIS) 2020 was organised by the National Mission for
Clean Ganga (NMCG) and Centre for Ganga River Basin
- Management and Studies (cGanga) on the theme “Arth
Ganga – River Conservation Synchronised Development”.
The summit was inaugurated by Union Minister Gajendra
Singh Shekhawat, Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS).
GRIHA Summit 2020 Vice President (VP) Venkaiah Naidu virtually inaugurated
the 12th GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat
Assessment) Summit 2020 organized by GRIHA Council,
- Hyderabad, Telangana & TERI (The Energy & Resources
Institute) from December 15-16, 2020. The Summit was a
Virtual Conference. Theme of the 12th GRIHA Summit –
‘Rejuvenating Resilient Habitats’.
Global Technology External Affairs Minister (EAM), Jaishankar virtually
Summit (GTS) addressed the 2020 Global Technology Summit (GTS) –
5th Edition, it was jointly organized by the Ministry of
External Affairs (MEA), Carnegie India (CI) from
- December 14-18, 2020. The Theme of 2020 GTS is
“Geopolitics of Technology”. GTS is one of the four
Flagship annual conferences organized by MEA, the other
three being – Raisina Dialogue, the Geo-Economic

Climate Ambition On December 12, 2020, the virtual Climate Ambition
Summit 2020 Summit 2020 was held to provide a platform for
government and non-governmental leaders to
demonstrate their commitment to the Paris Agreement
and the multilateral process. It was co-hosted by the

India-Bangladesh Held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime
Summit 2020 Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina which concluded
with a Joint Statement. Haldibari – Chilahati rail link
- jointly inaugurated by India-Bangladesh Prime Ministers.

broad-gauge link from Haldibari till the international

It held to review the entire gamut of bilateral relations,

including post-pandemic economic revival.
Both sides inked 7 MoUs and also set forth the Joint Vision
for Peace, Prosperity and People to guide the future

Partnership. Agreement was signed for US$5 mn Indian
Grant Assistance for Army Software Park at Nha Trang.
Implementation of the High Speed Guard Boat (HSGB)
Manufacturing Project for Vietnam Border Guard
Command under the US$ 100 million Defence Line of
Credit extended by Government of India (GoI) to Vietnam.
In this regard, concrete actions proposed to be taken by
both sides as per Plan of Action for period 2021-2023.
Global Media and Film On December 16, 2020 Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister
Summit in 2021 for Information and Broadcasting addressed the
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Big Picture Summit
- 2020 virtually. During the event, he mentioned that India
will host Global Media and Film Summit in 2021. He also
added that India will establish a special pavilion at 2022
Cannes Film Festival’s 75 years of celebration.

inaugural session of “Health Talks”, an annual conference of
the India Sweden Healthcare Innovation Centre. India-
Sweden Healthcare Innovation Centre is a tripartite

International Gender Parks The Gender Park, an initiative of Kerala Government in
Conference on Gender Kozhikode partnership with United Nations (UN) Women will organize
Equality (ICGE-II) campus the 2nd edition of the International Conference on Gender
Equality (ICGE-II) at Gender Parks Kozhikode campus in
February 2021. The conference will be 3-days long and the
theme of the event will be ‘Gender in Sustainable
Entrepreneurship and Social Business: The Mediating Role of
Empowerment’. The event will take place in a partially-
digital format due to the Pandemic. The 1st edition ICGE was
