Q) How are emotions created in the movie, Inside Out and how does it
influence the behavior?

Answer: The emotions are created by the inside mechanisms of the

brain of the little girl Riley who shifted from Minnesota to San
Francisco and was coping with a lot of ordeal. The emotions Sadness,
Joy, Anger and Fear guide her through her brain. In order to make her
feel unusually, they work together; the body produces involuntary
changes when the mind simulates sensory input. The emotions gather all
the memories she made with her friends and family and transport it to
her permanent memory. Apart from that, we even examine the inner
workings of the father’s and mother’s brain; when at the dining table, the
father receives a message from the brain by the angry emotion to get
frustrated at Riley and the mother receives from Joy to be patient with
her.

Emotions lead us to react to certain situations which is depicted by our

behavior. Examples from the movie are, when Riley is cycling in the
hall and is nearing a wire, Fear sends a message for her to stop and cross
over it. Moreover, when Riley is fed with vegetables, the emotion
Disgust leads her to get fussy and reject it. Anger also plays a major role
illustrating Riley’s behavior during her early stages of life.

This is the exact case with everyone, the way we feel emotionally we
tend to act the same way with the people around us or when we are
alone.
