Greater demands are being made for special asphalt mixes utilizing modified bitumen. Tekno Asfalt have
developed a range of bitumen modification plants in stationary configuration to meet this demand.
Tekno Asfalt can also supply units to the individual customers own specification. As with all Tekno Asfalt
products, great emphasis has been placed on the high standard of the equipment supplied giving
quality assured production for the customer.

EMULSION PLANT
Asphalt emulsion is a system that is composed of dispersion of asphalt particles in water homogenously by
use of several chemical substances. Asphalt emulsions are produced by mixing. With particular ratios
according to the desired application area and passing them through a colloid mill. The system can be
operated manually or automatically by use of PLC and operating panel that are needed for automatic
operation. Operating temperatures can be followed on operating panel, system safety is provided
by using each engine that is used in emulsion production in turn.

Tekno Asfalt tanks are available in horizontal or vertical configuration, stationary or mobile, electric or hot oil
