ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

In a group of not more than FOUR (4) members explain the process of identifying and
analysing critical issues; crafting the responses for the critical issues and making decision in an
organisation by using various theories, models, concepts and framework of management.

This assignment represents 30% of the total marks for this module; the assessment is marked at
100%. The deliverables are:
The report must follow the standard academic format:
Font : Times New Roma
Font size : Heading – 16pts, subheading – 14pts, normal writing – 12pts
Spacing : 1.5 line spacing between paragraphs
Caption and source is to be provided for each diagram, chart, and table used in your
answer

REFERENCES AND CITATIONS

 References and citations are to be written according to Harvard Referencing System.


 Ensure the format you use for writing your citations and references is consistent throughout
the document.
 Ensure each citation has its corresponding reference and each reference has its citation in the
answer.
 In Harvard Referencing, no bullets and numbering is required in the references. However,
you will need to present the references in ascending alphabetical order (i.e. from A to Z)

Please note that words in diagrams, charts, tables, captions, citations and references are not
considered into the word count.

ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

Select an organisation from the Technology, Engineering or healthcare and medical industry.
Identify Three (3) external factors that highly effects the chosen organisation and Three (3)
most important stakeholders that have driven the organisation in that industry to adopt
significant changes.

Your report should include the following sections:

 Brief introduction of the Company


 Describe the external factors and stakeholders
 Explain how these components constrain the oganisation’s operation and managers as they
make decisions in managing the organizations
 Explain how the awareness and understanding of the external factors and stakeholder
enhances the organisation’s efficiency and effectiveness.
