organization achieve this objective?
Behavior and its formation:
If talking about behavior, it is the scale of actions and manners made by organisms and
systems, in interaction with their environment, which includes the other systems or organisms
around as well as the environment in which they are living.
Roles of managers and leaders in influencing the behavior of individuals at workplace is very
important. It is included in the responsibilities of leaders to set a direction for team members.
In majority of the cases, it has been observed that employees do not feel going to work when
they have strict bosses.
Three main factors that contribute to the behavior formation include environmental
stimulus, and the most important is the inner voice in your head that keeps commenting on
your life, what is going on or what will be happening. These three main factors are the
building blocks of behavior. Organizational behavior changes the way people make
decisions. Businesses that are able to take risks in making decisions within the organization
achieve success in developing reorganization and creativity. There are plenty of factors that
can affect organizational behavior, including the company policies, structure and culture.
Employees' performance and organization's image are deeply affected by these factors. It
gives us thoughts on how employees behave and perform in the workplace. It helps us to
acknowledge the factors that can motivate employees, help organizations to establish a strong
bond with other employees, and increase their production. It also helps an employee to work
in a friendly environment and to be devoted to his work.

Factors having impact on a human’s behavior


Behavior is affected by factors including physical factors that age, health, illness, pain and
also due to effect of some medication personal and emotional factors, beliefs, expectations,
emotions and mental health. Behavior is also built on the experiences that a person faces in
the life. family, culture, and friends also have great impact on behavior and attitude of a
person. There are many several internal as well as external factors affecting employee
behavior. Leadership is the main factor affecting an employees working and level desire
level. Workplace environment impacts the behavior of an employee and is the biggest factor
that influences the motivational level of an employee.
Environment of an organization has a greater effect as we know that employees need to feel
comfortable at workplace so they can work devotedly and their motivational level increases.
A manager or leader must know what his/her team member or employee is up to and if they
are feeling secured working in the organization or if they have any insecurities. The most
crucial factor affecting employee behavior is Job security. Effective communication effects
the behavior of an employee. A manager should communicate effectively with the team
members. Letting the employees to express their views and thoughts on different problems
increases their interest in work. Encouragement of the employees is the most needed factor
for an organization to develop. An employee's personal life also has impact on how he
behaves at the workplace. An employee should must have good relationships with his fellow

employees in order to work in a friendly environment and should avoid arguing with the
fellow members so that it will have a good effect on the behavior of the employees.

Psychological knowledge and Management


Psychology is important in an organization to make it a better place to work. It helps
managers in an organization to support and motivate employees. It also helps businesses in
designing and manufacturing products, helps in building a better workplace for employees. It
helps to boost up the working level of employees. Psychological studies and knowledge help
to understand how to achieve maximum efficiency in limited resources.
Psychological knowledge helps an employee to develop the understanding about consuming,
investing, saving mechanisms and other managerial behaviors. Science researches and
psychologists are discovering many new ways to increase the productivity, identify training
and development needs, and policies that will attract employees towards the organization.
Psychologists can make tools more user-friendly by studying how people interact with
technology.

Role of Psychology in Management


Psychology plays an important role in business management. It studies the mentality of an
employee and his/her behavior in the organization, management and the most important role
in planning and in controlling of joint and individual activities and projects. The factor,
concern and importance of human is considered as the central point and backbone in the
psychology of Business management, because of its essence, concern with human resource
management, helps the employees, leader to cope with harsh and cruel crisis that arise in an
organization. With the help of psychological studies, a manager can classify an employee’s
behavior into predictable patterns from which organizations will be able to identify the best
ways of dealing with employees.
Psychology can be used to avoid harmful psychological situations in an organization and is
also helpful in controlling the psychological situations among individuals and groups in such
a way that will benefit the organization in various ways. Business organizations can mold
their employee's behavior by applying psychology and following some rules in the
organizations. Rules that must be followed should be employee friendly.
