Introduction to the course

● Level: DHIS2 Events and Tracker Level 1

● Duration: 6 days
● Prerequisite:
○ DHIS2 Fundamentals or a completion certificate
awarded during a previous DHIS2 Academy Level 1 or
2 academy.
Purpose of the course
● Specialization course covering aspects of managing
case-based data in DHIS2

● Introduction to concepts of designing, collecting, analyzing

and performing preliminary administration on case-based
data through a mix of lectures and hands-on exercises.
Learning Objectives
● Event and tracker terminologies, data model and configuration
● Event and tracker programs use-cases from the field;
● DHIS2 web event capture and Tracker capture;
● DHIS2 case based records data analysis and presentation;
● Program rules, notifications , indicators and configuration;
● Integrated analytics between aggregate and case-based
programs
