The goal of basic education is to provide the school age population and

young adults with skills, knowledge, and values to become caring, self-reliant,
productive and patriotic citizens. To promote and intensify the child's
knowledge of, identification with, and love for the nation and the people to
which he belongs, and. To promote work experiences which develop the child's
orientation to the world of work and creativity and prepare himself to engage in
honest and gainful work.
We teachers cannot restrict our attention to the classroom alone, leaving the
larger setting and purposes of schooling to be determined by others. We must take
active responsibility for the goals to which we are committed and for the social
setting in which these goals may prosper. If we are not to be mere agents of the
state, of the military, of the media, of the experts and bureaucrats, we need to
determine our own agency through a critical and continual evaluation of the
purposes, the consequences, and the social context of their calling. As a teacher we
know we are not completely perfect, sometimes we committed mistakes which is
unintentional. But that mistakes give as a big lesson to improve ourselves. Being a
professional was a big responsibility to everyone not only to our students and co-
teachers inside the school but to all over the world. We teachers are the center of
attractions because we are a model. We as professionals need to be careful with
everything we do. We should think about whether it is right or wrong.
As it says “Believe passionately in what you do, and never knowingly
compromise your standards and values. Professional educators are accountable to
their clients, community, parents and students, providing a quality educational
program for all children. Professional educators belong to an organization that
promotes their profession above personal gain.
