psihičke i fizičke simptome i narušeno zdravlje.
mentalnog zdravlja i blagostanja.
kasnije i zdravstvenih problema.
Mehanizmi:
1. Preterani zahtevi (visoka, nerealna i isključiva očekivanja/standardi)
2. Sve ili ništa, crno-belo razmišljanje
3. (1+2=Prestrogi unutrašnji kritičar)
4. Racionalizacija ?

The two most common EMS amongst psychologists were Unrelenting Standards and Self
Sacrifice. There was substantial indication of burnout, with 18.3% in the high range and 29.6% in
the moderate range of EE. The most common MCM were Detached Protector and Detached

Therapist Schemas as Predictors of Burnout
Higher EMS correlated with higher detachment & higher burnout (Bamber & McMahon,
2008; Simpson et al., 2018)
Bamber & McMahon,( 2008) Higher Emotional Deprivation predictive of Emotional
Exhaustion, detachment and poorer mental health in mental health workers.
Simpson et al (2018) -
Higher Schemas predicted higher Emotional Exhaustion.
Significant individual predictors associated with increased EE included being from an
English- speaking country, having higher job demands, higher levels of abandonment, &
mistrust EMS but lower emotional inhibition EMS, and higher levels of detached protector
mode.
Kaeding et al, (2017) – Unrelenting standards was only individual predictor of high
burnout amongst trainee psychologists
