Benefits of meditation :

Meditation is a powerful tool for spiritual growth, and is essentially a process to take one beyond the
limitations of body and mind. Teachers and practitioners of these “inner technologies” have also
experienced the many physical and mental benefits of meditation and yoga. In recent years, a growing
number of scientific studies and research on meditation have corroborated these experiences. So
mindfulness-based interventions help decrease anxiety, depression, stress, and pain, and help improve
general health, mental health, and quality of life. These practices also appear to reduce inflammation
and increase immune response.

Improved cardiac health.

Greater coherence within the brain.

Improved sleep.

Improved attention and focus.

Reduced menstrual disorders.

Meditation is a means of transforming the mind. Buddhist meditation practices are techniques that
encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature
of things. By engaging with a particular meditation practice you learn the patterns and habits of your
mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being. With regular work
and patience these nourishing, focused states of mind can deepen into profoundly peaceful and
energised states of mind. Such experiences can have a transformative effect and can lead to a new
understanding of life.
