Ebers-Moll model

Background
• Over the years a number of Large and small bipolar and monopolar
transistors models have been made.
• The Elbers-moll model and the Gummel-Poon are the popular ones.
• The need for RF/Microwave and high power application birth second
order effects and their study.
• Overly, the Gummel-Poon model is a more defined BJT circuit
representation.
What is the Ebers-Moll model
• First introduced in 1954.
• Model of analysing the behavior of BJT at RF/MW frequency ranges.
