Instruction: Please read the following situation and answer the question available at the end.

Assume you are working for an organization and your supervisor has asked you to review a business
proposal for a new product of your firm. Your supervisor got the proposal from a consulting firm and
s/he was keen to get it reviewed internally. The review will require market assessments, costing, long-
term growth opportunity, product knowledge, probable competitors, etc.

Given the above, assume you have been made the Group Leader (GL) of the internal review team with 4
(four) others as members from the organization. The team is expected to do the following activities:
a. workout various activities and deadlines to complete the assignments;
b. assigning responsibilities to team members;
c. develop questionnaire, collect data and make statistical analysis;
d. prepare and submit the final report within 4 (four) weeks.
Question:
With reference to the above, please do the following:
a. generate a list of behavioral competencies, not less than five, needed for the internal review team
members with a short description of each competency;
b. discuss how/why the competencies are needed to do the activities mentioned in the situation.
