When you hear the term “spiritual life”, you may think it is only relevant for faith based

individuals. While that may be the case for some people, your spiritual life can also refer to
your core values (such as respect, trust, or love) or your general belief system. Spiritual and
psychological wellness is a key part to living a life of good health and wellness. Your spirituality
in some way, guides all aspects of your life such as the quality of relationships, your personal
growth and even your career.
Having a deep understanding of what is truly important to you will guide you in new
motherhood too. Our values systems may change or adjust as we grow as parents. Reflecting
on what is truly important to us can translate to what we wish to teach and foster in our own
children. The paper below is a series of questions that assist in the exploration of one’s
