A BLOG is a frequently updated online personal journal
or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A
place to share your thoughts and your passions. Really,
it’s anything you want it to be. For our purposes we’ll
say that a blog is your own website that you are going
to update on an ongoing basis. Blog is a short form for
the word weblog and the two words are used
interchangeably.

Blog (noun) – a journal or diary that is on the
Internet.
Blogger (noun) – a person who keeps a blog –
Bloggers are revolutionizing the way news is
shared.
Blog (verb) – to write a blog – I am going to blog
before breakfast this morning.
Blogging (verb) – the action of writing a blog –
Blogging is my way of sharing my passions with the
world.
 There are three significant sections to all
blogs:
The Header- usually consist of an image, with the name
of the blog, in this case Blog Basics. Next you’ll generally
see a tag line with a slogan describing the purpose of
the blog.
The Content Area-This is the section where the content
is displayed. In older blogging systems full blog posts,
mostly text based, were displayed in reverse,
chronological order.
The Footer- Usually a footer displays copyright, some
basic information about the site and ownership.
However, some footers can be very elaborate. This
encourages his visitors to carry on clicking to view
content in other sections of the site.
Sales Budget - is an important first step in
structuring an overall budget for your small business.
With an accurate projection of future sales, a small
business owner makes well-informed decisions, keeps
expenses in line and protects his company from failing.
Use a sales budget to structure your company in a way
that maximizes profit. If you have been in business for a
few years, you can usually make an accurate sales
budget. If you are just starting a business, you may have
to turn to outside sources to generate a reasonable
sales budget.
Production Budget calculates the number of units
of products that must be manufactured, and is derived
from a combination of the sales forecast and the
planned amount of finished goods inventory to have on
hand (usually as safety stock to cover for unexpected
increases in demand). The production budget is typically
prepared for a "push" manufacturing system, as is used
in a material requirements planning environment.
Typically presented in either a monthly or quarterly
format. The basic calculation used by the production
budget is:
+ Forecasted unit sales
+ Planned finished goods ending inventory balance
= Total production required
- Beginning finished goods inventory
= Products to be manufactured
Cash Budget A is a budget or plan of expected cash
receipts and disbursements during the period. These
cash inflows and outflows include revenues collected,
expenses paid, and loans receipts and payments. In
other words, a cash budget is an estimated projection
of the company's cash position in the future.
Management usually develops the cash budget after the
sales, purchases, and capital expenditures budgets are
already made. These budgets need to be made before
the cash budget in order to accurately estimate how
cash will be affected during the period. Management
uses the cash budget to manage the cash flows of a
company.
