Key Issue ad of dormitory fees for both male and female halls of residence, both old and new of 2020 and 2021 from the Ist of March onwards ions for the Academic Year Our Demands: 1. HALL FE 1. We will not be paying the food cost For this year. Discussion about this will be held after physical classes start 2. Last year we only stayed in the hall for 3months. We were promised a 33% waiver on hall fees. We want that amount to inerease (at least 50%) 3. The ones who leave the hall will be compensated through pocket allowance, And others will have their waiver adjusted with this year's payment Cost breakdown: Payment this year = 1500 $ Deduction of 50% waiver = 7508 Deduction of this year’s food cost = 7008 Amount to pay = 100$ Why 7008 on food” The waiver we're supposed to get from last year's food cost was 500S for 7months so monthly food cost should be (500/7) = 71.43 == 70 dollars. So for this year (10 months), we should get 70 10 = 700 dollars. 2. TUITION FEES: 1, Several unis in BD along with other international universities around the world have provided significant waivers (o their students because of the huge difference in the learning environment, along with additional reasons like financial crisis, internet, and device management, etc. So we expected at least 25% waiver on our tuition fees from last year, which will be adjusted with this year's fee. 2. Ifthe situation continues, then we expect another waiver on this years existing payment Cost breakdown: Payment for this year: 30008 Waiver for last year: 9008 Amount to pay = 21008 if the classes continue online, further waiver on 21008 * All amounts are to be held relative to the cost breakdown presented to us during admission. Contingency: We, the students of Islamic University of Technology, expect a cost breakdown of how our payment has been utilized for the sake of said university, Guardian signature
