MATERIALS:
textbook, power point presentation ,laptop, overhead projector, worksheets.
The Updated Romanian Curriculum for 5th -8th graders
The teacher greets the pupils and asks if there are absents. The teacher checks the homework and
corrects it if necessary.
Books closed. The teacher split the class into two teams.(A&B) The students in team A say a
noun and the team B have to give the plural form of it. They take turns in answering/asking
questions.
After that, the teacher asks students to open their notebooks and write down the ex. 5, 6 on page
27. They check in pairs their answers and after that, with the whole class.
The students are asked to look over the pictures in ex.9/27 and then, they have to say what is
unusual about the pictures. After that, the teacher plays the cd and they check their answers to
ex.9.
After listening to the cd again, the students solve the ex. 11 on page 27.
6) Homework assignment ( 5 min) : They have to write a text about their favourite animal
using the ex.6 as a model.
