1.

Name 3 characteristics that increased the calculated value of your data and explain
why you think those characteristics are of interest to marketers.
Health conditions, visited websites, hobbies are some factors that made my data
value rise. This data is then utilized to help establish product positioning, pricing, key
messages, and other critical strategic decisions, many of which cross marketing.

2. As an experiment, go through the calculator again as the future-you (whom you think
you’ll be in ten years). Name three of the characteristics that made the biggest
difference in the value of your data.
The following are: job description, health conditions and hobbies.

3. Why do you think a marketer would be interested in someone with those

characteristics?
Data can be strategically used to more effectively contact a target market once it
has been acquired and correctly assessed. Specific marketing efforts can communicate
directly to the intended audience if they understand the consumer's pain areas, buy
preferences, and shopping behaviors. Due to good segmentation, each initiative's
influence can grow with this targeted strategy. The data generated by focused
marketing efforts can be utilized to better understand their value as they are
implemented. The strategy can be quite well by paying attention to engagement and
conversion indicators.

4. What do you think is the risk of such data leakage?

Data leakage, on the other hand, occurs from the inside out: an employee
communicates confidential information with unauthorized receivers or creates a
loophole that allows that information to be easily accessed by others who shouldn't have
access to it. Either action could be unintentional or intentional. A data leak, like a data
breach, can also have plenty of negative effects. It can result in legal action from those
whose information was disclosed, regulatory penalties, and damage to your company's
brand and bottom line.
