What impact does the Internet have on us?

This question is very important nowadays because almost everyone in the
world has access to the Internet. It is the largest source of information,
communication, and advertising, and despite all its advantages, it has many
disadvantages.
On the one hand, the Internet opens up the world for us, we can find any
information, find work, and communicate with friends, but on the other hand, the
Internet takes a lot of time, many people become addicted and there are even those
who lose the need for live communication. There are also people who suffer from
diseases such as obesity and various mental illnesses because they do not lead a
healthy lifestyle sitting in front of the screen.
Those in favor say that the Internet is a source of the latest news, as there are
hundreds and thousands of news sites and services that keep you informed of every
event. People like to read news about sports, weather, politics or any other topic on
the Internet to be well informed and up to date. What could be better than Games that
available for free, chats, where you can discuss any topic, entertaining websites,
online movies, and other TV shows, are also readily available online. And the
Internet makes it possible to shop without leaving home. All you have to do is sit in
front of the computer, click the mouse, and the product will be on your doorstep for a
few hours.
Those against say that the Internet is harmful to children because there are
various tools that can bypass "parental protection". Also, children who use the
Internet depend on it, which is again very dangerous. The danger is that hackers now
make it very easy to decrypt someone's chats or emails and retrieve someone's data.
In conclusion, we can say that the Internet is still useful, but we need to pay
special attention to how we use it . After all, there are many advantages and
disadvantages to the Internet, but the benefits of the Internet are so great that we can
simply give it up. The Internet makes life easier, but we must not forget the threats.
