The Viliya River

My childhood was spent in a picturesque village. In it, I had many friends with
whom I spent my free time. One of our favorite places was the Viliya River because
there was a lot of fun and there were always a lot of people. This is a special river,
native since childhood. And native because it flows with its tributary through my
village. It was in Viliya that I learned to swim, sunbathe and relax with my friends on
its attractive shores.
While the girls were just swimming, the boys came up with entertainment to
make swimming more interesting. They climbed a hill near the shore and jumped into
the river. It was interesting, but few of my friends dared to jump. Another
entertainment on the river was competitions. It was tired of holding your breath for
longer. There was a clear lizard in our company because my friend Anya could not
breathe underwater for three minutes. Almost no one could break this record.
When I was thirteen, the boys from our school decided to build a volleyball
court by the river. Everyone supported this great idea and came to help. In two days,
part of the vacant land turned into a fantastic place for beach volleyball. Everyone
played barefoot because the field was covered with sand that was warm from the sun.
I often come to the river even now. My best childhood memories are preserved
there. This is the place that will stay in my heart forever.
