1. How do I export my edit as a playable, shareable movie, or for YouTube or Vimeo? You

can render your videos to your social media accounts by adding the destination to your

YouTube account to your Adobe Rush account.

2. How can I upload it into my GoogleDrive PORTFOLIO folder? Once the video is the

way you want it to be, you can upload it to the GoogleDrive App on your phone by going

to the Exports 3 folder, then click the plus button, choose the Photos & Video, and select

the exported video to the folder.

Hint: the answers to those questions are already in the Video #1 instructions.

3. How do I make a new, clean Project timeline so I can edit something else, but keep my

current timeline? Add the video on the current timeline and then move them above the

current timeline. Then, lock the current timeline and you can edit the new timeline

without messing up the current timeline.

4. How do I make sure the aspect ratio of my video project is 16:9 (horizontal) - and not

9:16? (Or how do I choose a different aspect ratio?) At the bottom of the working space

where the editing tools are, the bottom left has a blue circle with a white plus sign in it;

the icon with two rectangles (one sideways and one standing up); tap on it and the aspect

ratios options pop up and you can choose between 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, and 1:1.
5. How do I trim a clip to only use the piece of it I want? Select the clip you want to trim

and make sure it is highlighted. Then, scroll through the bottom editing tools until you

see the icon of scissors; push that and the section you want for your video will separate

from the rest of the clip so that you can delete the other portion of the clip you do not

want.

6. How do I change the order of clips? Tap on the video you want to move so that the clip

is highlighted. Then, move the clip to the place you want it to be.

7. How do I reuse the same portion of a clip if I’ve already used it once? Move the video

until you highlight the clip you want to duplicate; at the bottom with the editing tools,

scroll until you see the scissors and trash cans. The icon between the scissors and trash

cans (the two boxes with a plus sign inside the front box) will make a copy of the clip you

want to duplicate.

8. How do I reuse a different portion of a clip that I’ve already used once? Move the video

until you highlight the clip you want to duplicate; at the bottom with the editing tools,

scroll until you see the scissors and trash cans. The icon between the scissors and trash

cans (the two boxes with a plus sign inside the front box) will make a copy of the clip you

want to duplicate.

9. How do I use just the audio from one clip underneath the video from another? Tap on

the video of the audio you want to use until it is highlighted. Hold it down for a second

and a mini menu will pop up with the choices of ‘Separate Audio’, ‘Expand Audio’,

‘Duplicate’, and ‘Delete’. Choose the ‘Separate Audio’ and the audio with separate from

the clip. Move the audio to the video(s) until it lines up exactly.
10. How do I use the video only from a clip while another clip plays beneath? Add the video

on the current timeline and then move them above the current timeline. Then, lock the

current timeline and you can edit the new timeline without messing up the current

timeline.

11. Can I cut to new clip while the audio from the current clip continues underneath? Yes.

12. Can I use still images? Yes. Click on the big blue circle with the white plus sign and click

on media. Then, camera roll and select the still image you want to use and add it to your

video.

13. Can I import or use other audio in my edit? Yes.

14. How do I dissolve between two shots? Move the line between the two videos you want

the effect to happen. Then, at the bottom of the screen where the editing tools are; scroll

until you see the icon of a lightning bolt with three lines with the word ‘Effects’

underneath. Tap on the icon and there are different choices of transitions; scroll until the

box with the word ‘Dissolve’ underneath it; tap on that and adjust the duration until you

are satisfied with the transition.

15. Can I change or correct the exposure (brightness/darkness) of a shot? Yes. When you

click on the icon with overlapping circles with the word ‘Color’ underneath it, you can

select what color setting you want.

16. Can I make clips Black & White? Can I tint them with a color? Yes. When you click on

the icon with overlapping circles with the word ‘Color’ underneath it, you can select

what color setting you want.

17. How do I make a text title? At the bottom of the editing tools, there is a blue circle with

a white plus inside. Tap on the circle and options are going to pop up such as ‘Media’,
‘Capture’, ‘Graphics’, ‘Audio’, and ‘Voiceover’. Tap on ‘Graphics’ and options are

going to pop up; ‘Titles’, ‘Transition Graphics’, and ‘Overlays’. Click on any of the

options under the ‘Titles’ category and click on the big blue ‘Add’ button to add the titles

to the video.

18. Can I change the font, size, or position? Yes. Click on the title and at the bottom editing

tools, click on the ‘Graphics’ icon and when it pops up, you can click on the ‘Edit Text’

button to create the title you want. You can also change the font by pressing the ‘Font’

button. You can also change the font size by pushing the ‘Font Size’ button.

19. Can I put text on top of video, so my title has video underneath? Yes.

20. How do I create a freeze frame from my video? Apparently, there is none.
