I choose the presentation from 雷 少 豐 。 He is talking about computer language that is use in many
technologies such as our apps in our phone, computer, laptop, etc. He did well in told us a lot of thing
that we don’t know. I think he can improve his presentation by inserting more contents in it. But overall,
his presentation is good.

2. Dictation homework

A tractor trailer truck carrying oil overturned on the interstate outside Harwich on Sunday around 4 p.m.
causing a 14 car (that) collision closed the highway for 3 hours. Traffic backed up for 20 miles on both
sides of the road. The accident spilled thousands of gallons of oil across all 8 lanes. The driver, William
Hodge, had attempted to avoid crushing a car that veered into his lane. The tractor trailer struck the
guardrail in the median and turned over. The driver escaped and then the engine burst into flames.
Hodge sustained only minor injuries. He was taken to Harwich Hospital where he was treated and
released. According to witnesses, Hodge lost control of his truck because of another driver’s erratic
driving. The other driver fled the scene on foot and has not yet been identified. The car, a 2007 Toyota
Camry, was towed immediately, although it took several hours to remove the truck. Police said pile up
was due to the spilled oil as cars failed to brake on the slippery road surface.

3. What will you do if you are stuck in a pile up?

If I’m stuck in the pile up, I will call the police to tell them about the pile up. If there is someone that is
hurt, I will call an ambulance for help. If the weather in outside is cold or it’s in the winter, I will stay in
the car and wait for someone come and help us. But, if the weather outside is good, I will run from the
car because I’m afraid that something bad will happened to my vehicle.

4. What is your ideal summer internship job this year and why?

I’d like to work in the international bank that located near my house because it’s pandemic now so I can
go home directly after my job finished. And also working in the bank will got quite big salary too. The
other reason I want to work in a bank because I can also make a new connection and also gain more
work experience.

Manager : You have been work so hard these day and I appreciate it. Thanks for your hard work.

Manager : Actually, what I’m trying to said is company ant to reduce their employee so they want you to
resign from your job…
