Description of LI report format
1) No of pages: 30 – 40 pages
2) The report should include ONE PAGE for each of these items:
(i) Cover page
(ii) Disclosure page
3) Font: Times New Roman; size 12; 1.5 spacing, justified.
4) The LI report should have these sections:
(i) Introduction: Provides a concise summary of the main purpose of the report and major
points of importance to note for the reader.
(ii) Job Description: Provide the job title and an outline of the major areas of
responsibility and how your responsibilities fit into the activities of your overall
department. List the specific tasks that were performed during the internship. Please
include relevant pictures with captions.
(iii) Project Report: Detailed description of one of the projects/tasks/routine involved.
Project report contents may include:
a. Problem to be solved/ Tasks given;
b. Methods/ procedures;
c. Results and discussion;
d. Conclusions;
e. Recommendations
(iv) Technical skills, General knowledge and Professional skills developed - Description
of skills and knowledge contribution from the various tasks job or may be of more
general nature.
