MoU: Ryo Bc Museum and Stes of Aan _ Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") BETWEEN Royal BC Museum and Archives ("RECM") AND The Sisters of St. Ann ("SSA") (together, the Participants”) A. Purpose end Scope 8) This MOU serves to: 2. Help toestablch a transparent framework and process fr expetes/Immedlate review of SSA Ingian Residential School * records, ane any other SSArecords which contain information about SA involvement at Indian Residertal Scools (associated records); b. Facitate acces tothe SSA archives by an RECM arctivst and a neutral third party to ‘audit Inala Residential School and assacated recor {Place an emphasis on making Indian Residential School and associated records accessible ta indigenous communities a priory; 4, Facilitate discussion between SSA and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation {NCTR) and the UBC Indian Residential School Histor and Dialogue Centre (SHO), ‘organizations that wil work to ensure or processes ncorporate the perspectives of Incigenous communities; fe.
