Creating a Quiz Using Study Island

1 Introduction and Display Clever Login Hello! Welcome to a video tutorial on


Screen creating a quiz using Study Island. To
begin, Log in to the Clever homepage
using your Google account.

2 Scroll to Find “Edmentum-Study Island Once you are logged in, look for the

on it.

3 Scroll to find “Built Test Library” Once the Study Island homepage loads,
look for the built test library icon on the
left hand side and click it.

4 Click “Build A Test” On the next page, click build a test.

5 Click “Test Title.” On the following page, click test title.


Enter a title for your quiz that is
appropriate for your class. For my
example, I will be typing “Dividing
Fractions Quiz”

6 Click Next: Questions Once you have your title entered, the
green icon that says Next Questions

7 Cick GA Programs Click on the GA programs icon, this will


take you to questions that are aligned
with the Georgia Standards of
Excellence.

8 Choose Grade Level Click on the appropriate grade level. For


my example, I will be making a quiz for
6th grade.

9 Click on Subject Area Click on the appropriate subject area. For


my example, I will be making a quiz for a
math class.

10 Click on Topic Scroll and find the topic of your choice.


For my example, I will choose “Division of
Fractions.”
11 Click “Assessment Questions” After choosing your topic, click
assessment questions. These questions
are great to use for quizzes because
students won’t have them during practice
sessions. To add questions that you want
on your quiz, click add. If you decide you
do not want a question that you added,
click remove.

12 Click “Practice Questions” You do have the option to choose


practice questions. These questions are
still good for quizzes but, students may
have seen these questions types before.
Most of the time, study island does
randomize the numbers in the questions,
but not always.

13 Click Save Selections Once you are happy with your questions,
click save selections.

14 Click Save To Library and Exit Once you have saved your questions,
click save to library and exit at the bottom
of the page.

15 Closing Your quiz is now saved in your built test


library, to access it, click built test library
on the left, your quiz will be located there.
