EMPANELMENT OF HOME LOAN COUNSELORS (HLC) AND MARKETING CONSULTANTS (MC)

FOR SOURCING OF HOME LOANS

SBI invites applications for empanelment of Home Loan Counselors (HLCs) and Marketing
Consultants (MCs) in Kerala. The eligibility criteria and detailed application form can be
downloaded from Bank’s website www.sbi.co.in (procurement news). The completed application
with supporting documents should reach the Deputy General Manager (B&O) of respective
modules within 15 days from the date of publication.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MCs

 Retired officers and employees in clerical cadre may be engaged for the purpose, without
prejudice to their pension, by the empanelment committee to be setup for the purpose.
 The officers / employees who left the Bank’s service under SBIVRS or who were dismissed
/ removed from the Bank’s service as a disciplinary measure shall not be eligible.
 Age at the time of empanelment should not be more than 65 years.
 His/her commitment, diligence and integrity should have been excellent during his service
in the Bank.
 The retired Officer/ Employee should be familiar with the local market.
 The retired officers/ employees who have already been appointed as Channel
Management Advisors by the Bank or any such assignment shall not be eligible for
empanelment as Marketing Consultants concurrently.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR HLCs

 A candidate with excellent marketing skills to sell SBI Home Loans.

 Age above 18 years but below 64 years and at least matriculate.
 He/she should be smart, have good communication skills (knowledge of local language,
Hindi & English is necessary).
 He/she should have experience as Insurance agents/ PPF/ NSC agents/ Mutual Fund
agents/ Real Estate brokers/ Government approved Valuers/ Chartered Accountants.
