Discipline wise Schedule of Common Entrance Test (PGCET-

2020) for Non GATE and Non GPAT candidates for admission to
M.E./M. Tech./M. Pharm. for the year 2020-21.
The Common Entrance Test (PGCET-2020) for admission to Post-Graduate Engineering and
Post graduate pharmacy courses shall be conducted as per following schedule.

The candidates are advised to note following points in relation to conduction of exam.

(1) Admit card/hall ticket will not be issued for this exam hence all candidates are
requested to keep their registration slip issued by the admission committee along
with any one valid photo ID proof (like driving lisence, Adhar card, college ID
card etc..).

(2) Without these documents, candidate will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
(3) Center change will not be entertained under any circumstances.
(4) There is no negative marking in the exam
(5) Non programmable scientific calculator is allowed during the exam.
(6) Mobile phone/pager/head phones/any kind of written material/book/magazine etc..
are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
(7) Exam will be objective type, four choices A, B, C and D for each question.
Candidate has to encircle the correct response in OMR sheet only.
(8) Responses are to be marked in OMR sheet with black ball pen only.
(9) More than one choices selected will be considered as wrong answer.
(10) Candidates are advised to check the details on OMR and all pages of question
paper before writing anything on OMR.
(11) Provisional answer key for the exam papers scheduled on 26-09-20 will be
uploaded on the website on 26-09-20 evening. Maximum 24 hours time will be
given to candidates to raise the queries. No query will be entertained after 24 hours
of display of provisional answer key on the website.
(12) Provisional answer key for the exam papers scheduled on 27-09-20 will be
uploaded on the website on 27-09-20 evening. Maximum 24 hours time will be
given to candidates to raise the queries. No query will be entertained after 24 hours
of display of provisional answer key on the website.
(13) The provisional answer key related queries must be submitted within stipulated
time limit to https://forms.gle/1NhjEQa1FmAtJ5YGA Google link only FOR PAPERS
SCHEDULED ON 26-09-20.
(14) The provisional answer key related queries must be submitted within stipulated
time limit to https://forms.gle/Dn5CGHSwQmgvX6uo7 Google link only FOR
PAPERS SCHEDULED ON 27-09-20.
(15) General guidelines issued by Gujarat Technological University for discipline and
conduct during the exam will be applicable for PGCET-2020.
(16) No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after scheduled time.
Candidates are requested to reach the exam center 45 minutes before the scheduled
time of exam. No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall till the end of
the exam of concerned subject.
(17) For the final confirmation of the admission, candidate shall have passed qualifying
examination and fulfilled all eligibility criteria mentioned in admission rules
incuding Appendix I of education department Govt of Gujarat notification No.
GH/SH/26/2020/PVS/102020/242/S Dated 30-06-2020.

Special instructions in relation to COVID-19 precautionary measures:

1. All the candidates are informed to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet


2. All the candidates must ware face covers/masks
3. Practise frequent hand washing with soap and use of alcohol based senitizers
4. Strictly follow respiratory etiquette. This involves strict practice of covering one’s
mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and
disposing off used tissues properly

5. All the candidates are advised to reach at the exam center atleast 45 mins before the
scheduled time so that necessary checking can be done and crowding can be avoided
6. Checking with thermal scanner will be done at the main entrance of the exam center
7. Provision of senitizer will be done at the main gate of the exam center
8. At the end of examination, candidates are advised to disburse as early as possible
without making any crowd such that social distancing of minimum 6 feet is
maintained.
9. Candidates are advised to co-operate and support the exam related staff in maintaining
social distancing and discipline at the exam center
10. Candidates will be allowed to bring following items with them
i. Ball pen (preferably black)
ii. Personal hand senitizer
iii. Face cover/mask
iv. Identity proof
v. Admit card/hall ticket issued by admission committee
vi. Transparent water bottle
vii. Non programmable scientific calculator

The detailed seating arrangement shall be notified on the committee’s website, one day prior
to examination.
