Cooking is woman's forte. According to Aeschylus in 467 BC, 'a woman's place is in the kitchen'. I also
bet that many would agree that the best dish for them would be their mom's cooking. Even popular
chefs and professional cook stories is inspired by their moms or grandma's dishes. It is too rare for
people to share a story of their dad, grandpa, brother or even boyfriend that cooks for them. And more
typical for boys to brag about their girlfriend or moms dishes.

LINGA:

Cooking was never a man's forte, but in today's day and age, men are getting better at it. They have
skillfully mastered the art of preparing mouth-watering dishes and are being voted as better cooks. We
all have heard of women competing with men in the corporate world and men taking the competition in
the right spirit. How? Well, they have been competing with women where culinary skills are concerned.
Men have been trying to outshine women in their own game, on their turf or territory - the kitchen. And
this is not a new phenomena; men have been slaving in the kitchen since the 14th century actually. A
French chef, by the name of Guillaume Tirel, was the head chef from 1326 to Phillip VI.

There's a popular saying that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Why? Because it is too
obvious for a girl to be the one to prepare the food. Aside from that many professionals proved and
tested that womens cooking is more healthier than what a man makes. Women delve into the subtleties
of nutrition for each of the one who eats. It is a fact that women is more meticulous in cooking and put
love in their dishes that makes it more delicious.

JC:

The fact that men love to eat is not an uncommon fact, aware naman tayo na ang mga lalaki ay malakas
at mahilig kumain and If men came across a dish that they loved, ita-try nila itong gayahin or lutuin by
themselves kapag nag crave sila sa dish na ito. Cooking their own meal does make them good cooks,
because they always want to try something new. Men are more adventurous; they are good at
modifying the traditional/normal dishes into something new. Probably they are like this because they
without any inhibitions/self-consciousness and they do not overthink things.

In terms of professionalism, there are women who is known worldwide through their great skills in
cooking. One is Anne Sophie Pic, who receives with the most Michelin Stars (stars equal a better cuisine)
and included in the list of World's 50 Best Restaurant, Nadia Santini who cooks at the restaurant "Dal
Pescatore" that is also in the World's 50 Best Restaurant, and Paula Deen who leads a popular cooking
show on the Food Network.
LINGA:

Just a handful of female chefs around the world have ever claimed three Michelin stars from the
prestigious restaurant guide since the system began almost a century ago. Even today just five female
chefs can be pinpointed in a list of over 130 three Michelin starred restaurants around the world.
Usually, most of the chefs in good restaurants are men. The world has seen enough on television where
men have voted down women in cooking. Chefs like Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, Guy Fieri, Carlos La
Cruz, and many more have done some amazing cooking for them to be so famous. All sorts of higher-
end cooking techniques are named after men. So men, once they enter the kitchen, can certainly
perform at the highest levels.
