1. How does a wedding bring about a change in a family?
Ans: After a wedding, either a new member is added to the family or a member
leaves the family. The responsibility of the bride and groom often increases and
also the responsibilities of other members in the family may also increase or
decrease because a change in the work is shared between the family members.

2. How does the birth of a child bring about a change in a family?

Ans: The birth of a child increases the work and responsibilities of the parents.
The other members in the family also need to help the parents in taking care of
the child.
3. Why should we take care of a physically differently abled person in a
family?
Ans: We must take care of the differently abled people because they may not be
able to do some daily activities on their own. They need extra care and help
from the other family members.

4. How have the roles of men and women changed over time?
Ans: In the earlier times, mostly women stayed at home, cooked and looked
after the children. Men went out to work and earn money. The important
decisions of the family were after taken by the head of the family. Now, more
women go out for work. More men help in the household work and important
decision are mostly taken jointly by both husband and wife.
