QUESTION:

1. How does gender inequality affect our society?

Gender inequality affects everyone, including men.

Stereotypes or ‘rules’ about how women and men, girls and
boys should be begin in childhood and follow us through to
adulthood. Not everyone experiences inequality the same
way. The situation is worse, and often different, for people
who face more than one type of discrimination.’

Gender inequality divides the society. It makes the

society toxic as well. Neglecting different genders because of
what the society have constructed as their incapability could
destroy the society’s unity and bond. Being unable to give
equal opportunities to every gender will surely ruin
someone’s confidence as well as lose the opportunity to
prove themselves to others. It becomes a hindrance for
society’s development in all aspects as one member of it
being deprived of chances to make contributions. Gender
inequality cannot be easily eradicated in our society as most
members of it bases societal roles according to one’s gender
most of the time. That is why most genders being
stereotyped become weaker dragging down the whole
community with them and as the society loses their assets to
development, it loses the chance to empower and encourage
equality.
