While visible tattoos are prohibited across the Disney Cruise Line fleet

and Castaway Cay, all Officers and Crew Members now have the
option to wear tattoo sleeves to cover arm tattoos only. Please
carefully read all details below and let us know if you have any
questions!
As a reminder, all tattoos must be discreetly and completely covered at all times.

Please note the following:

 The approved methods to conceal tattoos are:
o Clothing
o Makeup (based on crew member’s role and tattoo location, and size of 2” x 2”,
5cm x 5cm or smaller)
o Tattoo Cover Sleeves (new)
 Tattoo sleeves can be purchased directly from Wardrobe at $16.72 per set (subject to change)
 Crew members are responsible for washing and keeping the tattoo sleeves clean.
 Tattoo sleeves can be worn by crew members, even if they don’t have arm tattoos, as the
sleeves also provide sun protection
 Tattoo sleeves must be worn as a set. It is not possible to wear just one tattoo sleeve. Both arms
must be covered.
 Tattoo sleeves must be worn at all times while “on stage”, including on Castaway Cay
 White or black tattoo sleeves are not acceptable.
o DCL requires tattoo sleeves to be skin toned. We offer 3 color options for purchase; see
examples below.
 Leg tattoos, as well as any other visible tattoos, must be covered at all times. Many positions
have a pants option as part of the costume to assist with leg coverage.
