How to merge video and audio using iMovie app for free

1. Start the iMovie app and, if you see the Welcome to iMovie screen, click "Continue."
2. Click "Create Project."
3. On the New Project screen, tap "Movie”.

4. Click the button at the top and click import media to import video and audio that you
want to combine from your MacBook.

5. Drag and drop video and audio from the browser to start creating.
6. You can preview the video and include transitions between the video clips (to do that,
scroll the video to the left or right until you find a cut point, and click the transition
icon to choose the transition style).
7. You can also adjust the audio (move timing, cut, transition style) according to your
preferences.

8. When you’re finished merging, click the export button at the top right of the window
and select “Export File”.
9. Choose the video format, resolution and quality according to your preferences, and
the click “Next”.
10. Rename your video file and click “Save”.
