BINDT/PCN Certification

post-Brexit
Announcement
Issued: 23 June 2021

PED NDT approvals – URGENT ACTION REQUIRED

BINDT/PCN Certification post-Brexit (For work under the EU Pressure Equipment Directive)

Please be aware that the transition period allowed by WQ-iC Ltd ends on the 30/06/2021.
This means that if you have not completed the WQ-iC Individual Contract Agreement you
will no longer be approved for PED Annex 1 § 3.1.3 work and your certification may be
rejected.

It is essential that you agree the contract agreement now to maintain your certification.

In order to facilitate this and to try and simplify the process, a link to the terms and
conditions of the WQ-iC Ltd scheme is copied below and you can agree to these simply by
clicking the “Accept” button. This will auto-generate an e-mail to which you may also add
any supporting information i.e., your name, PCN number, address and identity evidence.

In addition, by clicking “Accept” you authorise BINDT to release your contact details to
WQ-iC Ltd. This is a mandatory requirement for maintaining ISO/IEC 17024 / EN ISO 9712
accreditations. In doing so you are simply agreeing to abide by the WQ-iC Ltd scheme rules
and to share your personal data, which of course is protected by both BINDT and WQ-iC Ltd
under the GDPR.

If you choose not to respond to the e-mail or select “Decline” then WQ-iC Ltd. will remove
your approvals from their database and you will no longer be certified for PED work.
