PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION

Pusingan Awal (Preliminary Round)

( 13/11/2017)(Monday)
1. Each class has to send 3 participants for this round.
2. There will be only 1 session for this round:
a) Prepared Speech :time allocated is about 3 minutes
3. There will be no theme specified as long as it does not
touch sensitive issues like religions, races and politics.
4. Only 6 participants will be chosen to go to the final
round.
5. Name of participants has to be submitted to Puan
Nurul Azie Yanty by 27/10/2017 (Friday).

Pusingan Akhir (Final Round) ( 17/11/2017 ( Friday)

1. There will be 6 participants for this round (chosen
based on the preliminary round)
2. There will be 2 sessions for this round:
a) Prepared speech : about 6 minutes (can use the same
text as in preliminary round or new text but MUST
BE about 6 MINUTES.
b) Impromptu speech : participants pick a random
topic prepared by the organiser. Each participant
will get different topics. Participants will need to
talk about the topic and no time will be given for
preparation.
3. Winners will be determined by the judges and results

are final.
