Role

Investment Analyst Internship, preferably a candidate with a minimum duration of 3 to 6

months

Job Description

• Sourcing, evaluation, structuring, and execution of investment transactions within

the technology industries
• Strategizing and development of investment thesis including competitor analysis on
opportunities
• Preparation of investment slide decks and financial modeling of equity and credit
instruments
• Presentation and marketing of investment propositions to senior management,
investors and business partners
• Attend venture capital network events to introduce Genesis and venture debt, and
source for potential deals
• Assist Managing Partners in preparation of fund slide decks

Seeking candidates with the following qualities:

• Ambitious, entrepreneurial and enjoys start-up culture
• Open-minded, curious and willing to learn
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (good PowerPoint skills is a
major plus)
• Investment Banking experience would be great.
• Willing to learn and invest time to turn around an urgent piece of work
