Current scenario -

1. Bangalore Server : Good Internet. Current database a0067.

2. Kolar Server : Frequent Internet service interruptions.
Current database a0093.

Proposed solution -

We can have continuous replication of data from Kolar server to Bangalore

server.

When Internet is working

Kolar server data will be replicated to Bangalore server continuously.

Kolar users will access the Kolar server normally.
Bangalore users will access Bangalore Replication server for viewing reports.
Bangalore users will use Kolar server for transactions when Internet is working.
(Not Bangalore server)

When Internet goes down

When Internet is not working Kolar users can work locally.

Bangalore users can use the system for viewing reports from Bangalore server.
They will not be able to make any transaction.
They will get reports till last replication date / time.
Bangalore users should not post any transactions.
Bangalore server will not allow posting any transactions.

When Internet starts working

The Bangalore server (which is behind Kolar server) will catch up in some time.
