Calculations

panel power=250 w
panel area=1.65 m^2
panel power/panel area=power/m^2
i.e.panel power/panel area=260w/1.65m^2=151.15w/m^2
annual solar irradiance at Nellore=5.14KWh/m^2/day
25% loss during pv generation and conversion
conversion efficiency=18%
(energy demand/annual full sun hours)/efficiency=pv system size
module power=250 watts*4.4 sun hours per day=1100wh/day
Here's a simple formula for calculating your solar panel's power output.

1. Solar panel watts x average hours of sunlight x 75% = daily watt-hours. ...
2. 250 watts x 4.4 hours x .75 = 1100 daily watt hours

system power/module power=number of modules

1100/250=4.4
