HCG Test Strip

A rapid one step test for the qualitative detection of
human Choríonic Gonadotropin (HCG) in uriñe/ Serum
Procedure
'1 .Bring the canister to room temperature. Remove the required number of test
strips and use them as soon as possible. Immediately cióse the canister tightiy.
2. With arrows pointing toward the urina or serum specimen, immerse the test strip vertically
in the uriñe or serum specimen until the sample starts to migrate . Don't pass the Máximum line (MAX)
on the test strip when immersing the strip.
S.Take it out after 8 seconds when testing a uriñe sample or 10 seconds when testing a serum sample then Place
The test strip on a non-absorbent fíat surface.start the timer and wait for the red line(s) to appear. read the results
within 5 minutes when testing a uriñe specimen or within 5-7 minutes when testing a serum specimen.
4. Don't read the results after 5 minutes for uriñe specimen and 7 minutes for serum specimen.
Results
1. Positiva: Two distinct red lines appear.One line should be in the Control región (C) and
another line should be in the Test región (T).
2. Negative: One red line appears in the Control región (C). No apparentline appears in the test región.
3. Invalid: Control line fails to apper.
