Topic : White, Yellow & Blue Revolution in Indian Agriculture

BACKGROUND
Over the past 50 years India has shown considerable growth in its economy. It has so far been very successful in
achieving its various targets of self-sufficiency in all aspects. All this was possible because of various
revolutions brought about in Indian agriculture. There were major revolutions in India which helped it shape its
agro-economy. Namely they were White Revolution - for MILK, Yellow Revolution - for OILSEEDS and
Blue Revolution - for SEAFOOD.

OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of this project is to study the cause of advent of these revolutions and its importance in
the economy of India.

RESEARCH QUESTIONS
 Why these revolutions actually occurred?
 What actually transpired when these revolutions occurred?
 What is the importance of these revolutions in shaping the Indian economy?

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The research methodology adopted for making this project is Doctrinal Method. It is concerned with the
analysis of a doctrine and how it has been developed and applied. It consists of a complex and in depth analysis
of the reasoning.
