Introduction

The topic of abortion is one of the most controversial of our times. It discusses

human interaction where morality, religion and the law binds together. These views

can be broken down into two categories, Pro-life and Pro-choice. Everyone has their

own views and opinions; despite what several people may believe abortion is neither

right nor wrong.

A pro-life believer is against abortion. Pro-lifers believe that from the moment of

conception, the embryo is alive and this life imposes a moral obligation to preserve it.

It has a brain and a heart; therefore it also has a right to life. They believe that

although abortion is regarded as a women’s right, it should be banned with no

exceptions because it’s considered murder.

Religion plays a big role on pro-life. Abortion is against the Bible and most religious

people don’t believe in it either. Mother Teresa once stated that “it is poverty to decide

that a child must die so you may live as you wish.” Abortion is the unnatural end of

pregnancy. That child has the right to life that is equal to the mother’s right. One

cannot kill another human being just because they wished it wasn’t around.

A pro-choice believer would feel that the decision to abort a pregnancy is that

of the mothers’; and the state has no right to interfere. Abortion is a women’s own right

and choice. Women should not be forced to have babies they don’t want or aren’t

ready for. They must be able to decide what happens to them and have a safe plus

legal way of doing so. Women are in control of their own bodies and lives. Legislators

have no right to interfere.

Objectives of the Study:

 This study aims to know the insight of the students especially the teenagers who

between the two parties intensify not only for their opposing principles about abortion

but as well as the recent issue about the RH Bill. Since the two camps are primarily

And for us to gather we make data, we make use of survey questionnaires with the

total number of 30 respondents.

in the country.

V. Recommendation:

 To our fellow students, we are suggesting to conduct more comprehensive

studies about this issue to contribute essential information to the future

generations of students. To help them learn the value of life and to preserve it in

its all forms.

 To the professors in every college, especially those who are teaching subjects

that has relation to this issue, we are hoping that they will impart their knowledge

to each of their students in order to guide and to mold them to become

responsible being and instill them with high sense of moral values.

 To the school, we are suggesting to conduct programs and seminars for the

students to educate them about the advocacies of Pro-Life and Pro-Choice. To

help them understand better regarding the issue.

Each and every one of us has our own stand and opinion about what principles

we would believe on. Whether we chose to be a “Pro-life” or “Pro-Choice” we must

not deny the value of life. As early us now, we must equipped ourselves with the

right ideas and values which will make us better person someday especially when

we have our own family. We will become parents in the near future and we must

teach our children as well as the younger generation about the meaning of life and

why we should value it. God given us the gift of wisdom, therefore we must use this

to choose better choices and create good decisions in life in accordance to the law

and morality.
