DEDICATION

These are the things I usually keep in my bag. I always have my company ID whenever
and wherever I go. An alcohol for personal hygiene and safety especially now that the
COVID-19 virus is still active. A pack of tissue for me to use as someone who has an
allergic rhinitis, you wouldn’t know what time you will feel irritated and feel to sneeze.
My money of course. An ointment to keep me alive and kicking. As a mom, I always
have an extra bottle to carry in case my kids look for milk. I do not forget to bring snacks
when I travel and it is an essential for me, and lastly my cell phone which I frequently
use for work, school, and entertainment.
When I read the articles about Mark Salvatus' ongoing art project "Wrapped: Traces," I
am blown away by his concept and how he used art to communicate with others. He
also developed an alive and great art by simply tracing whatever object he had on hand.
I just followed what he did and made my own traces with the items I already have in my
bag, and voila! you can see my side as a full-time working mom. As I finish this and look
at my final output, the objects drawn creates a story about how I can manage my
position as a mother while working full-time to meet their needs. Even though I am frail
and suffer from several illnesses, I am proud to be a working mother, and let's not forget
that I am still a full-time student. To be able to complete and finish assignments like this
one is a huge accomplishment for me, and it relieves me of all of my worries.
