As time goes by, the complexity of everyday tasks and the competition to get ahead in

life has taken a toll on people and how they behave with others. Now, it is safe to say that

workplaces are becoming somewhat of a mind-boggling setting of a drama rather than a stage for

personal and professional development and all workplaces, somewhat, carry the same sentiment,

unfortunately.

The reason for choosing this topic is simple; the somewhat universal nature of it. Drama

at workplaces is everywhere. Whether it be behind the platform of a McDonald’s burger point or

in the hustling and shouting offices of Wall Street. It is everywhere. The fact that it exists

everywhere is reason enough to pick it up and dissect it to see what’s going on.

According to a few resources and talks, we can pinpoint the origin of all these dramas to

the people involved in it and since dramas are done by people, it would make sense to do so. To

be able to step out of your shoes of the competition you’re in to address the concerns that give

rise to such issues is something we need to look into and put into practice. Self-reflection, being

humble, having an understanding nature, all these better our approach to workplaces and

handling them professionally.
