Weekly Report #4

Name: Loida Calero Contreras.

This week we had both our asynchronous English classes with Mr. Martillo.

This class was different from the previous ones since they were asynchronous, because the
teacher was doing other activities so it was difficult for him to connect.

The topic of the class was Advantages and disadvantages of being an economist, which had
the following points:

1. Checking Atendance/ Agenda 45 min.

2. Reading Weekly report
3. Feedback on the video presentations.

The teacher informed the president of the activities to be carried out.

The first activity consisted of watching and listening to a video containing two dialogues on
the subject of contract termination. After listening to the pronunciation, we had to record it
and then upload it to EVA.

The second activity consisted of reading a text and then answering three questions, one of
which was individually: What is the central economic problem', What do macroeconomists
study and what do microeconomists study?, and Why are you interested in economics?, this
activity, like the previous one, was done as a group.

Finally, the activities that were synchronous and asynchronous were carried out and
uploaded to the platform to be reviewed by the teacher.
The objective of the class was reached, because through the second activity each student
was able to define why economics is important and to have a clear concept of economics.
