Classical Guitar

The modern classical guitar was born at the end
of the 18th century in France.
This modern instrument had more sound and the
strings used changed from gut to nylon.

The position is very important, the guitar is on


the left leg and it used to play it with fingers.

The first guitarists who discovered this


instrument in Italy were Mauro Giuliani and
Fernando Sor.

The electric guitar was born in 20th century with rock n
roll. they invented a guitar that can play with a
powerful band so it is an amplified guitar.
you can play it with the pick and the particular sound
(distorsion) was created by Jimi Hendrix who wanted
more and more sound on this instrument.

This guitar is also played as a solo instrument and


thanks to the amplification it has more type of sound.
