RT 1 or RT 2 satisfy “ASME UW-11 (a) Full Radiography”

The circumferential joint shall be fully radiographed (RT 1) only for some cases which
compressed gas are not included.
The robustness of a vessel will not be affected if it is RT 1 or RT 2, because the stress at the
circumferential joint is a half of the longitudinal joint.
For both case, RT 1 or RT 2 the vessels shall be calculate with same efficiency (E). For these
vessels, according to UW-12, E = 1.
At the Calculate Report of these vessels we calculate with E = 1.
If we utilize RT 1, we will have unnecessary increase in manufacturing cost and also the time.
