Directions: Read the paragraph and answer the following questions by choosing the correct answers.

When a child is born in any of the hamlets and villages along the banks of the Danube, a violin and a silver
spoon are held up before his eyes as soon as he is safety in the cradle. If he reaches out for the violin, he is sure

is not told what Johann Strauss reached out for, but he grew up to become one of the most famous musicians in

music was in Schani’s blood. In his bedroom were violin, a harp, a flute and a drum. His father rehearsed his
