Fastest delivery is crucial in the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods. This is due to the
fact that the life cycle of fast-moving consumer goods is shorter, and customer demand is
likewise higher. As a result of these two factors, such products must be distributed as soon as
possible after production. To distribute swiftly, some strategies must be followed. For
distributing fast-moving consumer goods in fastest way the steps are given below:

Small decentralized warehouse setup:

Some decentralized small-scale warehouses for fast-moving consumer goods businesses must be
established across the country. The key benefit of a decentralized warehouse is that it takes less
time to deliver and costs less to transport. It also has a high level of delivery flexibility. The
criteria for location selection of small decentralized warehouses are given below:

From this graph we can understand that, if we want to grab the largest number of
customers, we need to launch the Facebook shop in addition to a website or app.

Again, the option of a toll-free call center has to be turned on. Mobile phones are used by
a huge portion of the population in our country. Customers will receive order-related
information and problem-solving assistance from the call center. Furthermore, not
everyone will always have Internet connection. They will be able to place orders over the
phone call as well. The technical team will monitor this aspect thoroughly.

After the placement of the order, the nearest warehouse to the delivery address must be
identified. This can be accomplished through the use of an optimal path finding algorithm
or any other method.

 Delivery Team: The delivery team will then deliver the orders in the fastest time.

Understanding the market demand in the current situation is a very challenging issue. Demand is
forecasted from the amounts of sales of existing products. The more accurate the sales volume,
the more accurate the forecast. It is common for every company to have a sales team consisting
of some sales representatives and territory sales managers. The Territory Sales Manager assigns
and supervises the Sales Representatives in the Particular Geographical Area. The purpose of this
whole sales team is to fill up the sales target. If they can fill up this target, they get different
types of incentives or bonuses. It is often observed that the amount of this bonus is equal to the
basic salary. So, the sales team tries to take extra orders from the retailer with a small
commission to fill up the target. Again, the opposite scene can be seen from time to time. These
factors have a bullwhip effect, which has a negative impact on the whole supply chain and raises
the total cost. So, in order to move out of this system, we must stop accepting orders the old
traditional manner and create plans to take orders digitally. The manufacturer's staff will be able
to know immediately how much a product is selling in the market using this digital technique,
and will be able to forecast that data to conduct the manufacturing. As a result, the market's
supply and demand uncertainties will be reduced.

Impacts:

 The total cost of the supply chain is minimal.

Execute:

For this we have to arrange one electronic gadget in each retailer shop. This gadget will have the
name of each FMCG industry recognized by BSTI, as well as its logo, wholesale price, and all
product availability information. This gadget will allow them to place orders via internet
connection. For those who are not able to operate this electronic device, a toll free call center has
to be arranged. Each FMCG industry must have a separate call center. If the retailer wants, he
can place an order by calling the call center. After then, all of the data will be kept on a
commercial cloud. Each firm will be able to view the sales volume of each of their goods and
forecast based on this information.
